And The Winners Are...

Thank you to everyone that participated in our digital greeting card giveaway on Facebook. I appreciate you all being patient with me when I extended the end date for being ill. I've chosen 2 winners randomly by using random.org's random number generator. I've posted the screen shots below...

Congratulations to Molly Ruic & Brianna Clarke! I will get with you this week via email to work out the details of your greeting cards! I'm very excited to see which one you will choose. I still have about 3 to make (I did promise you at least 10 to choose from :)). I should have those done by mid week so we can get started soon!

You can find all of our digital greeting photo cards (all customizable) HERE in our boutique.

For those that didn't participate this time, I know we'll be doing more giveaways soon. If you haven't already, join us on Facebook for exclusive sales that can't be found in our online boutique!

We've added some new items this week and will be adding many more! Visit us online to check out the new items!

Please don't forget that for the month of November, 30% of all sales go to Kaylee's fund in honor of her 3rd birthday coming up in December. Get a jump on your holiday shopping and give back to a good cause as well!

Giving back this November

October 2011
I'm sure those of you that keep up with happening at Stellar Trends have heard me talk quite a bit about Kaylee. You've seen The Kaylee Hat in our shop and you've read about her on our Facebook page, here on the blog, and in our online boutique. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please, go HERE and find out more about Kaylee and give her a little shout out love!

On December 5, Kaylee will turn 3 years old. In honor of the fight this little girl has been through since March of 2011 and in honor of celebrating her 3rd birthday, we are going to donate 30% of ALL November sales to CureForKaylee's fund.

Spread the word to the people you know and help generate some financial support for this family as they continue their fight with Kaylee to beat stage 4 neuroblastoma.

The Holidays are Coming...(way to fast!)

If you are like me, you looked at the calendar yesterday and thought, "there's really only 2 months until Christmas?" That may seem like a long time but, I know for me, that will be here tomorrow! It's funny how these things just sneak right up on us.

How we can help...

I've always enjoyed doing a little digital creations here and there. I started doing printable party supplies this year and love love love them but with the Holidays coming up, I really have to focus on other things. But, I figured, why the heck not do some digital Christmas/Holiday cards. These things are great for many reasons!

For one, they are completely customizable. Will I rearrange the entire layout of the card? No, probably not. But, the wording can be changed, fonts, colors, and, of course, your photos will be inserted into your card before it gets emailed to you! We do our cards in 2 sizes: 4x6 and 5x7. These are the perfect size for having these printed at a photo lab (such as Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, Snapfish, Shutterfly, or whatever service you like to use).

2nd, if you don't want to print and mail these out, you can use the file we send you and email to your recipients. That will cut down on your cost a great deal. (Just make sure you order the JPEG file instead of the PDF)

3rd, you choose the type of file you want. If you want to have them printed on photo paper we will send you a JPEG file. If you think you'd like to have them printed on cardstock (you can have this done at Staples, Office Depot, Xerox, etc. or you can do this at home), we will send you a PDF file that will have 2 files per sheet.

We will work with you with re-edits to create a card especially for you. Make your holidays easier and special with one of our digital cards.

You can find them here in our shop! Plus, now through November 6, you can get them at a discounted price! Visit our Facebook page to see how you can win 1 of 2 that we are giving away.

Hearing from you...our customers & fans!

It's been a crazy long time since I have looked at our blog, much less updated it! I am determined that I am going to stay on top of the blog because this is an excellent venue for seeing our new items, hearing our news, and staying up to date with Stellar Trends.

Why else is the blog great?  It gives us an excellent place to hear your feedback! We love to hear from our customers and fans. Hearing your opinions really opens up our options on new products and hearing what you, the best fans in the world, are wanting to see from us. That's the beauty of being a Personal Expressions boutique. Hopefully, your idea can become a reality!

With that in mind, let us have it! Tell us what you'd like to see us do next!

Kaylee update :)

It's been a while since I have posted anything much less an update about Kaylee! She has her very own fan page now on Facebook that is updated with her progress. Go show some love!
This is from her NEW fan page on Facebook! Go like the page and show some love and support to this cutie patootie. Her battle is far from over so any support or kind words would be greatly appreciated.
Kaylee has had a great day today. She walked the halls saying hi to all the nurses. Played with dry rice in a bucket for hours. This is her new favorite thing to do. Talked with the doctor today and it looks like she will be coming home on Thursday with iv nutrition for the first week or so. Over the next couple of days Kaylee will be planning her "break out" party.......... I wonder what her theme will be?
Also, don't forget we are still selling The Kaylee Hat and are donating all the proceeds to Kaylee's fund. Plus, $1.00 from every hat sold goes to The Layla Grace Foundation in support of childhood cancer research! You can find the hat HERE in our shop. We have 10 flower colors to choose from.

Kaylee Update

Here's a note (at the bottom in pink) written by Kaylee's dad, Ryan on July 22 of the update on Kaylee and what her little body is about to endure. Let's please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers!

Also, don't forget, you can help the family and get a super cute item by purchasing The Kaylee Hat from our shop HERE! Also get free shipping now through the end of August.

We've sweetened the pot a bit too! For every hat sold, not only will 100% of the proceeds go to the family to help with medical expenses but Stellar Trends will donate $1.00 to the Layla Grace Foundation to help fund research for childhood cancer.

July 22, 2011 Kaylee update via Facebook

"So we had a sitdown this morning with the doctor who went over all of the ‘what to expects’ for Kaylee’s Stem Cell Transplant in a couple weeks. She will have a thorough exam and scans done next week to search for, if any, remaining cancer. Now despite the intensity of her previous rounds of Chemo, it’s nothing compared to what she’s about to go through. She will be placed in hospital isolation for a month. During which she will begin the most grueling, intense high dose Chemo rounds that will put the others to shame. I knew in the back of my mind that it was going to be hard, but to hear the doctor use terms like “hamburger meat” to describe what the inside of Kaylee’s mouth, esophagus, and GI Tract will look like as a result of the Chemo. This little girl will experience for at least 2 weeks, the agony that only you and I can never imagine before she even begins to come back to normal. Her immune system will be so completely wiped out that the common cold can kill her. Not to mention if her body rejects her own cells. Only a list of 5 people, including us, will be able to see her during that time. Rylee will miss her best friend for a whole month because she’s not allowed to go into the transplant unit…
For today we got to bring her back home. She is doing great. More than ever, our little girl will need every one of her supporters to help pull her through this. She’ll need it…"
